Got Questions?
May 12, 2014
Visitors to the Know Your Options website know that our Mortgage Help Network assists delinquent homeowners, but regardless of your mortgage status Fannie Mae homeowners can always get assistance from Fannie Mae's Resource Center.
You may have applied for a loan modification, but not heard back from your mortgage company. You may wonder why your Short Sale offer was rejected. You may need to find out whether you are eligible to cancel your private mortgage insurance…that's where the Fannie Mae Resource Center comes in.
May I Help You?
The center is staffed by loan specialists able to answer questions like these (and more!) and point you to the right resources.
The center is open Monday – Friday, from 8 am to 8 pm (Eastern) and is free. English and Spanish speakers are available with other languages are accommodated with assistance from AT&T Language Line, says Jarvis Obarakpor, who manages the center's operations.
To contact the center, call 1-800-2FANNIE or email [email protected]. (Note: the center's services are only available to homeowners whose loans are owned by Fannie Mae.)
