You might find the home that’s right for you, but do you know which documents you will need to have on hand when applying for a loan to buy that home? Knowing which documents and any other personal information you will need before you meet with a lender can be confusing.

You will likely have to bring W-2 wage and tax statements from all of your employers for the past two years, a Social Security card, a copy of all the pages of each credit card or loan statement dated within the last 30 days, and other pieces of personal information.
